All questions
Which systems does Remotless run on?
Windows 10 and 11 today. macOS, Linux and Android apps are coming. You can view an iPhone or iPad screen in a future app version, but Apple does not allow any app to control an iPhone remotely.
Does the person I help need an account?
No. They download Remotless from remotless.com/download, read you their ID and accept your connection. Only your team needs accounts.
Can you see my screen or my data?
No. Sessions are end-to-end encrypted between the two computers. Our servers only help them find each other, and relay encrypted traffic when a direct connection isn't possible.
Where are your servers?
In the European Union. Backups are also stored in the EU. You can see the live service status at remotless.com/status.
What happens after the free trial?
Choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, new sessions and new PCs pause, but your account and settings are kept, so you can continue later.
Can I add my colleagues?
Yes. Invite technicians and admins by e-mail from the Team page in your dashboard. How many people you can add depends on your plan.
What is unattended access?
Reaching your own company's PCs when nobody is sitting at them, for example a server or an office computer. Log in to Remotless once on that PC and it appears in your dashboard.
Is Remotless open source?
The Remotless app is based on the open-source RustDesk project and its code is public on GitHub. Our servers, dashboard and security layer are run by us.
Someone called me and asked me to install Remotless. Is that safe?
Only if you called them, or you know them. Banks, Microsoft and the police never call to ask for remote access. If in doubt, don't accept, and report it to us.
