Turn on two-step login

Protect your account with a code from an authenticator app, and keep your recovery codes safe.

Two-step login asks for a 6-digit code from your phone each time you log in, so a stolen password alone is not enough.

Turn it on

  1. Install an authenticator app on your phone, for example Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or 1Password.
  2. Log in at app.remotless.com and open Security.
  3. Click Turn on two-step login and scan the QR code with the app.
  4. Type the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm.

Recovery codes

You get 8 recovery codes. Each one works once if you lose your phone. Print them or store them in a password manager, not on the same phone.

For company owners

Owners can require two-step login for the whole team in the company settings. People without it are asked to set it up before they can continue.
