Set up unattended access
Reach your own or your customers’ PCs at any time, without someone there to click Accept.
Unattended access lets you connect to a PC when nobody is sitting at it, for example your office PC or a customer's server.
What you need
- Remotless installed on that PC (not only running). See Install Remotless on Windows.
- A verified company account. New companies are checked once before they can add PCs for unattended access; this keeps abusers out. Contact us if yours is waiting.
Set it up on the PC
- Open Remotless on the PC you want to reach later.
- Log in with your Remotless account, so the PC appears in your company's list.
- In the settings, set a permanent password for this PC and keep it somewhere safe.
Connect later
Type the PC's ID (or pick it from your list) and click Connect, then enter the permanent password.
Stay safe
- Use a long, unique password for each PC.
- Turn on two-step login for your account.
- Remove PCs you no longer manage from the dashboard.
