Time tracking and billing reports
See support time per customer and technician each month, round it for billing and export it as CSV for your invoices.
The Reports page shows how much support time your team spent per customer and per technician each month, ready for invoicing. It is built from your session history, so nobody has to fill in timesheets.
What is counted
- Sessions on your company's PCs and sessions your technicians made on customers' computers.
- One visit is the time one technician spent on one computer. Sessions that overlap (for example remote control and file transfer at the same time) count once, and reconnecting within two minutes continues the same visit.
- Only finished sessions are counted. Times are in UTC.
Open the report
- Open your dashboard and click Reports at the top. The page is for the company owner and admins.
- Choose the month.
- Optionally choose rounding: each visit can be rounded up to the started 5, 15 or 30 minutes, the way many support companies bill.
You see the totals, the time per customer (with each technician's share), the time per technician, and every visit.
Name your customers
The first time, computers appear as Not named. Click Name customer, type the customer's name and press OK. All sessions on that computer, past and future, then add up under that name. Give several computers the same name to group them, for example all the PCs of one office.
To rename or remove a name, click Rename next to a visit on that computer.
Export for invoicing
Click Download CSV to get every visit of the month: date, start and end, customer, computer, technician, type, minutes and billed minutes. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers, and can be imported into most accounting software.
Which packages include it
