Fix scripts: one-click fixes and AI scripts

Ready-made fixes for common Windows problems and scripts written by AI, every line explained, with risk levels. Nothing runs without you.

Fix scripts are ready-made fixes for common Windows problems, plus scripts the AI writes for you on request. They save typing and mistakes during a session. Nothing ever runs by itself: you read the script, check with the person you help, and run it yourself.

Use a ready-made fix

  1. Open your dashboard and scroll to Fix scripts.
  2. Click a fix to open it, for example Clear a stuck print queue.
  3. Read the script and what each line does below it, and the Undo / after note.
  4. Tell the person you help what you are about to do. Then tick I have read this script and the person I help agrees to it, and click Copy script.
  5. In your Remotless session, open PowerShell on their PC: right-click Start → Terminal (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin) when the fix says it needs "Run as administrator".
  6. Paste the script (right-click in the window) and press Enter.

The ready-made fixes include: clear a stuck print queue, clear the DNS cache, reset the Windows Update cache, repair Windows system files, free disk space, restart the taskbar, show PC health at a glance, fix the clock, restart Windows audio, reset the Microsoft Store cache, and reset the network settings.

Risk levels

  • Low risk: safe to run; reads information or restarts a service.
  • Check first: changes something the person may notice (for example, deletes temporary files). Tell them first.
  • High risk: can interrupt your session or change important settings. Use it only when the simple fixes didn't help, and read the Undo note carefully.

✨ Write a script with AI

Type the problem in the box at the top of Fix scripts, for example "Outlook search finds nothing", choose Windows, macOS or Linux, and click Write script. The AI writes a short script, explains every line and gives it a risk level.

Every AI script also goes through our own safety check. If it finds something dangerous, it marks the script High risk and says why. Examples: deleting whole folders, turning off antivirus or the firewall, downloading and running files, hidden (encoded) commands, creating users, or restarting the PC. The AI is told never to write such commands, and the check catches them if it does anyway.

AI can make mistakes. Read the script before you run it, just as you would one found on the internet.

Good practice

  • Run fixes only with the permission of the person you help.
  • Start with the simplest fix and check after each one.
  • Don't paste passwords or personal data into the AI box.
